The design brief defines the problem based on secondary research, and outlines the solutions the app provides.
Problem
Food waste is the one of the major problem in our society. America wastes roughly 40 percent of its food. Of the estimated 125 to 160 billion pounds of food that goes to waste every year, much of it is perfectly edible and nutritious. Food is lost or wasted for a variety of reasons: bad weather, processing problems, overproduction and unstable markets cause food loss long before it arrives in a grocery store, while overbuying, poor planning and confusion over labels and safety contribute to food waste at stores and in homes. After Covid 19, lots of people staying home and they cook them self, but they did not have good planing for food spending. That leads to more food waste.

Proposed Solution
To create a product and app that establishes a system for manage user's refrigerator such as check conditions of foods in refrigerators, listing what kinds of food is in their refrigerator, and sharing recipes that can make with ingredients that they have. This Idea originally from a smart refrigerator, however not every people can get a new refrigerators, so here is a product which is camera that put on the refrigerator and an app that connected with a refrigerator camera.   
Target Users
The app targets people between 18 to 50 who live in monthly payment residence. (who do not need to by a refrigerator) 
The second targets are people who live alone and have a work, so hard to spend time to care about their refrigerators or foods.
Another targets are homemakers who have lots of family especially having children. (so they are hard to menage refrigerator and food spending plan) 
Design Principles
Problem
1. As people become to spend lots of time in their house, thus wasting foods is daily problem. 

2. People do not have a lots of times to menage their foods in a refrigerator. They buy overwhelmed foods and lost money by wasting foods. 

3. People have a problem to find a recipe that fit with their ingredient , so they buy ingredients  to make food. 

4. People do not prefer to use apps to find their recipe because it is uncomfortable. 

5. Even though some company sell the smart refrigerator but it is hard to be a part of their life. 

Design principle 
1. The app no barrier to use daily life 
Food wasting is a daily problem, so this app should have a good accessibility to use for everyday use. 
2. Focus on save user's money by not wasting foods in their refrigerator 
It is should be the point why people use this app. foods also one of the part of their money. Waste foods is waste money. 
3. Help to find a recipe that match with their own foods 
Find recipes that matched with rest ingredients is the major idea of this app 
4. Design simple UI to find recipes and the best ways to deliver recipes 
If users are hard to find informations that they expected for this app, the app will be a useless app. 
5. The app that for popular  people (large target) 
Food wasting is world wide and all of generation problem, so it should be used by popular people.
